1/19/12 to 2/20/12 ~ 1968 The Year That Rocked the World, ten minute play called THE INJUSTICE OF CENSORSHIP with be produced by the History Theatre at the Minnesota History Center’s stage. The original play planned for production, THE CORRAL which was censored by Clyde Bellecourt can be read here: THE CORRAL by Rhiana Yazzie 1-4-12.
1/1/2012 ~ Rhiana is featured as the January face in the Native Honor Calendar as a young Native leader in the Twin Cities. Created by photographer Andrea Fairbanks.
8/5-21/11 ~ Asdzani Shash: The Woman Who Turned into a Bear production by Two Worlds Native theatre company at the VSA North 4th Arts Center in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

1/21-29/11 ~ The Duel play reading is at the VSA North 4th Arts Center in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
12/10-19/10 ~ The Dreaming Bundle, New Native Theatre’s first production opens!

7/9-25/10 ~ Ady begins its run! Produced by Pangea World Theater, performed at the Minneapolis Playwrights’ Center.

7/1/10 ~ Rhiana has been named a Playwrights’ Center 2010-2011 Jerome Fellow! This is the second time she won the award, the first was 2006-2007.
2/1-3/21 ~ La Jolla Playhouse production of Chile Pod tours to San Diego County schools! The tour ends with four public performances March 20 & 21, 2010 at the La Jolla Playhouse.

6/09 ~ Rhiana is now a Playwrights’ Center Core Member and has also just been jointly commissioned by the Ashland Oregon Shakespeare Festival and the Public Theater to write a play for American Revolutions: the United States History Cycle.
